I am having a problem being consistent with exercise. I can go 3 or 4 days doing some form of exercise but then I will miss 2-3 days before getting back to it. What helps you to get your exercise done daily?
Some people like to schedule a time every day and pre-plan the activity. I can't do that with small kids. So what I do is try to get it in before 12 noon. If that isn't possible because of other commitments, I look at my night schedule and see if I can fit it in then. Having a workout partner can help. All of this depends on how you like to do things. I don't like to have an appointment with someone because I always freak out that my kids won't behave. So you have to do what works for you. Figure out what kind of person you are. Rewards also help, but not food. So give yourself a night out shopping (you don't have to spend money), or rent a movie. I use to reward myself with workout clothes or a night with no kids. So find out what would motivate you and how you best schedule things. Once you see results and know you are getting stronger, exercise becomes addicting. If it helps to know that you can have an easy exercise day then do it. I like yoga. You still get a workout but there is so much more to it.
