I'm having the same issue. One thing that helps me is gum. If I know I am just being snacky, I put gum in my mouth. I think some of it might be my reaction to cutting out sugar too. Any other tips out there?
Gum has helped me too. I have tried some new flavors lately to help with me wanting something sweet after a meal. But also note that if you are truly starving, you need to eat or it will just make things worse for you and you will end up on a binge. So drink some water, chew a piece of gum and busy yourself with a non-food activity. If you are still hungry in 20 minutes, eat something. If it's snack time, start with a piece of fruit. A clementine only has 35 calories in it and it's sweet. You should only need to cut out manufactured sugar, but natural sugars don't hurt you as much and can actually help you from grabbing something really bad. Gina
